Here you’ll find answers to the questions we’re asked most frequently.

Are you enrolled in the Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) system?Yes, Kidz Kove has been enrolled in the CWELCC program since 2022. We also have a partnership with the Region of Peel for a purchase of service agreement, allowing us to serve subsidy-receiving families.

How do staff and child care providers communicate with parents?Our Kindertales portal (both app and desktop versions) allows parents an instant communication tool with their classroom educators. Parents are able to see all daily reports and documentation regarding their child through this portal and will also be able to send a text message to the educators for quicker communication.

Are you licensed or unlicensed?Yes, Kidz Kove is licensed by the Ministry of Education of Ontario. Our Site A is licensed for 105 kids and Site B is licensed for 305 kids, serving from infants to preschool ages (0-6 years old).

Is food prepared on-site or catered in?All meals are catered in by Yummy Catering. We serve a variety of meals while being mindful of your child's dietary restrictions. We are a nut-free and pork-free facility.

How many people on-site have first aid certification, including infant or child CPR?​All personnel on site are required to have First Aid CPR, Level C, as part of their employment requirements. All personnel on site are also required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check prior to starting their employment with our facility.

What qualifications or training do staff and providers have? For example, are staff Registered Early Childhood Educators? Are staff trained to support children with special needs?We employ Registered Early Childhood Educators, Early Childhood Assistants, and Child and Youth Workers, as well as various staff with diverse qualifications. All lead educators in the classrooms are RECE, who are supported by ECA, Child and Youth Workers, Resource Consultants, and other professionals.

Site B is the largest licensed capacity in Mississauga. It is also the largest childcare facility in the country, boasting over 30,000 sq ft, including an indoor gym, a library, a sensory room, and 5000 sq ft of outdoor space.
